Eden II Programs is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with autism throughout their lives by providing a range of services rooted in applied behavior analysis.
Challenge
Talkido was used with a non-verbal student using an AAC device. The AAC software and Talkido were combined to support communication skills.
How was Talkido implemented?
The AAC software and Talkido were combined to support communication skills.
The DIY cards are prepared with two different questions to be used hear these questions.
After hearing the questions, the student was prompted gesturally to respond via his AAC device.
Outcomes
Support Independency
Responding to the questions and using it independently were so easy for the student.
High Adaptability
The student got along with it and learnt how to use it so quick.
