The user background
Eden II Programs is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with autism throughout their lives by providing a range of services rooted in applied behavior analysis.
Challenge
The Talkido system was used with two students to read and comment together on a book called “Give A Pig Pancake”
How was Talkido implemented?
The interactive question cards are prepared with the Talkido DIY cards about the book.
The students were prompted via the Talkido and were drawn to it.
After reading and commenting of few pages from the book, they independently and gesturally responded to the Talkido.
Outcomes
Joyful Interaction
The kids engagement is very high and they enjoyed to complete the tasks with Talkido.
High Adaptability
The variety of speech and language tasks can be adapted by Talkido.
Educator Testimonial
"It kept the kids engaged in the task and brought joy to them. The system itself is easy-to-use and adaptive different scenarios."
